So I went ahead and uploaded a tribute video for the 2010 USA soccer team on Youtube. Then they slapped my account off the web due to copyright!!! So I'll be re-uploading all my "playing" videos to a new account. "xmxcxplaying". Check back for new videos, sorry about the delay I moved to a new apartment. :)

Hello fellow gamers and readers alike. It's xmxcx here and I just wanted to give you all a heads up on my next video. I received a closed beta demo code for Lost Planet 2. I will be making a gameplay video for you all soon.
I also wanted to let you in on some sad news. I have not played any more of White Knight Chronicles. I did manage to attempt some online quests and the game did not get any better for me. Still feels like I should have paid 20 dollars for it and played PS2. I'm beginning to feel the same way about Final Fantasy The Crystal Bearers. So there may not be either a real review or video for those two games. To be honest they may both be trade-ins by the end of the week. We can however end on a happy note! Last night I completed the Story Line of Final Fantasy 13. It really is hard for me to put it higher than Final Fantasy 7 because of the technologies that are present now compared to then. I will say compared to X through XII it tops them all. The story was great and the Ending justified the whole story perfectly. I will still need to complete the over 140 hours of side missions, but that will be all in due time. Well I guess I should get back to work. Later Gamers. xmxcx Hello gamers. Just wanted to keep you up to date on my gaming additions. I have recently purchased Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 and White Knight Chronicles for the PS3. So I must say I was a bit wavering on MW2. I know people had given it so much praise, and once I got into the multi-player I could see why. I was able to jump in quick with some friends on my list. Started playing at 11pm only to notice it was 3am. I'm really not much of a FPS player though. As you could imagine I am not very good, I have been playing for a few weeks and my highest kill count is up to 9 in Free- For - All. In Team Deathmatch my highest is 5. I feel like I'm getting better though, so watch out for me.
Now moving on to White Knight Chronicles. I'm not too far into the game and already it's starting to feel draggy. It comes across as a PS2 game with a bit better graphics. The game play is a slot based selection battle mode. Which took some getting used to. It does however allow you to create your own Avatar that follows the main character through the offline mode. However in the Online quest mode, your Avatar becomes your main Character. I haven't actually gotten into any online quests yet. I imagine with the ability to play with up to 3 other players, and all on microphone the fun factor will rise. Problem is you gotta play through the offline mode to "buy" the quests. So, I wont put a stamp on the game yet, but I will continue to play and get back to you with a juicy rate and review post. Until next time gamers... Well folks, its me here xmxcx. I wanted to get some information out for some of my new ideas for reviews and run down a couple of games I am anticipating. Currently I'm playing Final Fantasy The Crystal Bearers for the Wii. I'm going to try a new angle with this review, recording some game footage then reading my written review over it. I want to see what the most affective system of game reviewing will work best. I have uploaded a new video to my VIDEOS page. If you check me out on Youtube you know about it already. Its just a quick video of Battlefield Bad Company 2 Multiplayer Demo for the PS3.
Time to get down to future game business. I was going to pick up Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2, to this date I still haven't picked it up. However my next trip out to Gamestop should be very productive. I'm hoping to get CODMW2 and MAG. I'm still on the borderline on Dark Void. I found the demo to have a bit of a difficult control structure, may wait to get it used. Looking further in the future, the one game I am getting the day it comes out will be Final Fantasy 13 for PS3. I have been waiting and waiting for this to be released in the US. The time is almost here 3-09-10. So there you have it, a little update on whats going on with me and my reviews. Later Gamers. Today I got my monthly issue of Game Informer Magazine. This issue features their top 200 games list. I'll post the top 10 and some notable games and placements in the list.
10 Ms. Pac Man 9 Super Mario Brothers 3 8 Final Fantasy 3 7 Metroid (NES) 6 Doom 5 Half Life 2 4 GTA 3 3 Tetris 2 Super Mario Brothers 1 The Legend of Zelda (NES) 1987 Honorable Mentions: 15 Final Fantasy 7 19 Metal Gear Solid 34 Sonic The Hedgehog 56 Uncharted 2 74 Tomb Raider 79 Kingdom Hearts 82 Left 4 Dead 100 Portal 107 Gears of War 134 Borderlands 154 Little Big Planet 187 inFAMOUS 196 Call Of Duty 200 Beyond Good and Evil I'm currently playing through Assassin's Creed II. The highly anticipated follow up to the original. I'm about halfway through with the story mode of the game. Although there are many side quests available I have strayed from. I do hope to get to them eventually, I'm hoping that this game will end much like inFAMOUS did. Allowing the player to roam the world freely after the story completes to do such missions. Only time will tell and I'm not sure if I will be doing a video or a written review on AC2 when I complete it. Also I'm playing Super Mario Brothers Wii, however not as religiously and without care to finish it or not. I see that as more of a shelf filler. "Hey look at this game." That kind of deal. Come to think about it, I think I did the same thing with [prototype] I played the first few missions then put it back on the shelf. I only pull it off now to show people the carnage you can inflict freely throughout the city. Do you have any games like that? Leave a comment. Stay Tuned Gamers. [xmxcx] |
[xmxcx]Could you believe that I may actually start typing up reviews for games... Me either but we'll see. Expect some other gamers to chime in too. Archives
